open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi all,
I have managed to install v8p4 on Windows somehow in the beginning of the year, but want to start using the python API. For this, I wanted to use the automatic installer.

For some reason, I cannot download the automatic installer anymore on this site:
www.opentelemac.org/index.php/binaries, but a colleague still had the file.

The installation went smoothly, but I get errors when running simulations that run smoothly on my "manual" v8p4 installation.

In parallel mode I first get System error from partel.exe saying that libmedfwrap.dll cannot be found. After I press ok, the prompt gives the attached error (error parallel).

Running on only one core, I get a weird Fortran compilation error (error_1core).

Does anyone know, how I can fix these problems? Do I need to deinstall my "manual" v8p4 installation first?

Could you provide the files you used to run TELEMAC (case, mesh and boundary conditions file if any)?

I had the same problem when installing telemac using wintel, and I resolved it by putting the command "call %EXTERNAL%\python\Scripts\activate.bat" in "config\pysource.gnu.bat" after setting all vartiables (see pysource file attached), the problem is that after calling the "activate.bat" file, it stops adding variables to path. I hope this solves the problem.

thanks for your response. I get the same error running any case, e.g. the telemac examples, therefore I think it has something to do with the different versions of TELEMAC. I might just wait for version v8p5 though...
