open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello everyone,

I recently tried to use telemac for a flooding simulation. But after installing the automoatic installation:telemac_v8p4r0_setup, as I tried to complie it, it always showed:

ImportError: No module named request

I have no idea how to solve it, does anyone know it? Thank you in advance!

Do not install Telemac in path with space in it --> "Program Files".
Better to install in C:/TELEMAC

I have removed and reinstalled all the files. However, it showed the same error:

I'm told TELEMAC v8p5 is now available, would it be possible to try installing that instead of v8p4?

Hi André,

Of course, we plan to publish the installer for V8P5 in January.

The installer provides pre-built binaries, you don't need to compile anything, and in fact you shouldn't do so. I may remove the "compile_telemac.py" script in the next version of the installer to avoid such confusion.
