open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I trided to install MPICH2 on my computer to run parallel simulation.

I add the path for bin and lib directories.

when I tried to launch my first simulation I can read this :

You should update the file named mpi_telemac.conf which is located in install\win
Or you could also modify the systel.ini file (in config directory) to change the MPIRUN parameter.
If you run in local mode, choose -localonly option instead -file.
Think to run the install_systel script after this modification.

you try to use MPI but the deamon doesn't runYou've got a problem with your MPICH2 installation

I tried to reinstall it I have still got the same error.

The fact is I work without intel fortran, could it be that thing which creates the error? Is it possible do parralellism without a fortran compiler?

You could run Telemac in parallel without fortran.
Your problem doesn't come from Telemac but from MPI.
Any other program which use MPICH2 will give you the same error message.

Maybe you should have administrator rights to install MPICH2 correctly.
Another possibility on windows 7, use a command windows with administrator rights and install MPICH2 with the command: msiexec /i mpich[...].msi
