Can anyone please point me to a source where I can download the pre-compiled METIS Library for WINDOWS. I want to compile the TELEMAC 6.1 with Intel FORTRAN compiler on WINDOWS but unable to find a compiled METIS lib. The one available in METIS website can be only compiled using a LINUX system.

Hello,
in the following link you will find different versions of metis
glaros.dtc.umn.edu/gkhome/fsroot/sw/metis/OLD
download "metis-4.0.zip"
after that you will find inside the zip file
libmetis.a
change the .a to .lib
that is all

Thanks a lot for your help. The compiling instruntion is referring to the file libmetis.a! Shall I change it to .lib? any specific reason for that?

hello,
you will only need metis during compilation and telemac need it with .lib as a liberary file i.e .lib
