I can't open the *.MOD files which seem to be helpful.
I tried to change the MOD extension to MPG, used some hints and softwares suggested in several web forums.
I am using Windows 7.
How to solve this problem?

Hello,

I am not sure to understand your question, for me *.MOD files are binary files that are the result of modules compilation, so their format is compiler dependent, and you can just refer to the corresponding Fortran source like e.g. interface_telemac2d.f to know what is inside.

Hi
Profamb, you make a confusion on the type of the file.
Even sometime the extension .MOD is used for movies, in telemac, the .MOD file if the compiled version of fortran modules.
As jean-michel said, you could read the fortran source of those files. there are in the sources directory.

Hope this clarify the question

Dear moderators

Thanks for the replies.
I was fooled by Windows, which attached a video file icon to MOD files.
Case closed.

Best Regards
