Hi,

I'm a new Telemac 2d user. I want to use it on Windows XP 64 bits.
I've spent a lot of time in this forum but I can't solve my problem.

I use g95 as a fortran compiler.

When I do makeall90, I get:

'g95' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
NMAKE : fatal error U1077: 'g95' : return code '0x1'
Stop.

However my path is:
C:\TELEMAC\V6P1\bin;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin;C:\Documents and Settings\Benjamin\My Documents\G95\bin

So could you help me please.

Thanks in advance

Benjamin

This is strange indeed since it seems to be in your PATH.

All I can say at this stage is that you look on the Internet for forums about the g95 compiler, to make sure that is you type g95 in a DOS command Windows it works.

Good luck !

Sébastien.

Thank you for your answer.
But I'm not sure that my file systel.ini is correct (HOSTTYPE for example).
See it enclosed below. (I renamed it as a .txt)

Thanks a lot.

Benjamin

Just because I am a little bit supersticious with systel.ini  (I prefer python installs) ....

In VERSSPA=v6p1 put these in upper case.
Change HOSTTYPE=g95 to HOSTTYPE=win
and [g95] to [win]
and DIRLIB=win

Hope this helps.

Thank you. I still get the same error message though. I probably do something wrong...
I'm going to try the Python install.

Best,

Benjamin

The error sems to come from g95, not from the systel.ini.

Add C:\WINDOWS\system32 (please check that it exists) to your PATH and try again.

Hope this helps.

Actually I wasn't in the bin directory, which was a problem for the compilation.

Thank you for your help.

Hello,

After a telephone call with the user, the real solution to that problem is that the command makeall90 must be executed in the directory bin where it is.
