open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I saw in the installation procedure with Python that there is an option to compile it to OpenMI.

Is that it means that TELEMAC may be linked to another OpenMI software (as defined www.openmi.org) ? If it is true, is there some documentation about it?

Read the installation procedure carrefully! It's possible to compile telemac with OpenMPI which is slightly different...

OpenMPI is a library for parallel computation.

there is some reflexion about future version of telemac which should be OpenMI compliant but as I know, this is not the case for the moment.

Hence my confusion with OpenMPI.

Nonetheless, note that there is an OpenMI version of TELEMAC (TELEMAC-2D), but only working on Windows (since HR Wallingford is very much involved with pipistrelle, a .net based application).



Further development work is being done as a collaboration between EDF and HR Wallingford to merge this coupling mechanism with the EDF's SALOME coupling mechanism, which is available for Linux.
