open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

I keep on getting this error message when I install the free version of Telemac,
'The application has failed to start
because fmpich2.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.'

I have trief re-installing the software many many times and it did not work. Can anyone help?

I did go to install/win/and run install_systel.bat and it does not work either. I am really really earger to get this software running by this week...please help!!!

I think this message doesn't come from the windows setup of Telemac.
This message should appear when you try to run a simulation in parallel mode without installing MPICH2 on your computer.
That don't means Telemac doesn't work in scalar mode ...
You should think to download (there's a link on the download page) MPICH2 and also PERL.
To give us more information about your problem, you could post some screenshots if these idea doesn't work

Bonjour, j'ai essayé d'installer MATISSE RUBENS et TELEMAC 2D.
J'ai installé un compilateur fortran G95 CYGWIN
j'ai installer une librairie PERL
Mais rien ne se lance quand je tape matisse dans l'invite de commande.
ps:Je suis windows XP

Fortran compiler is required only if you want to compile telemac or add your own written fortran file to telemac (user tuning).
Cygwin is not used on the windows version of Telemac
This is not a perl library that you should install but a perl interpreter program like strawberry perl.
You said "Matisse ne se lance pas" but what happens?
You should have a message or something equivalent.
This could help other people to help you!

Je n'est effectivement pas été assez explicite.
Je me suis plongée dans le forum et les tuto d'installation et j'ai un peu avancé(en téléchargeant Strawberry et en modifiant mes variables d'environnement).
Je n'ai pas le compilateur fortran nécessaire donc je ne peut pas lancer télémac mais normalement je peut utiliser Matisse et Rubens?

J'ai tout réinstallé(V5P9). Rubens fonctionne mais quand je lance Matisse il y une erreur. (Je posterai mon problème dans le topic adéquat).

You could use Telemac without fortran compiler.
On the test case, you can run all the simulation where no fortran file exists.

for the matisse problem, more information are necessary to understand your problem

I'm experiencing the same problem. I have installed mpich2-1.3.1 and strawberry perl as advised on this website but the error message still comes up every time i try to run the software (and I'm not referring to the parallel version).

Did you installed perl before TELEMAC?
If no, think to run install_system.bat in install\win directory.
