SVN Checkout error with TortoiseSVN 12 years 7 months ago #4269

Hi all,

I try to get sources throught the SVN method using the TortoiseSVN program. I think I correctly enter all parameters (mainly SVN url...), but I receive the following error :
"Server sent unexpected return value (400) in response to PROPFIND request for 'svn/opentelemac/tags/v6p1'"

Does anyone here has already seen that message and can propose something?

Thanks.

Hello,

You should have read access to the tags as a public user. But note that "anonymous" or your own username/password or the website username/password will not work.

Please use instead the following:
Username: ot-svn-public
Password: telemac1*

Hope this helps.
Sébastien.

Hello,
I already used that username and password. I've just seen that the url is associated with the port number 80 : svn.opentelemac.org:80
Is this number the good one ?

You should not have to specify it -- in your web browser, it should default to 80, but you can only browse -- in Tortoise SVN the link in full should be set to :

svn.opentelemac.org/svn/opentelemac/tags/v6p1/
(make sure yo uhave the last "/" ?)
... and that should prompt you with the public username (see previous post).

What version of Tortoise do you use ?

The version is the 1.7.3

Maybe my problem comes from intranet parameters. I will asked my informatic department.

Thanks.
