open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

is there anyone who could help me with the instructions on how to properly install telemac in a pc running in windows (particularly win7 x64)?

am new to it and not really so technical when it comes to this part. got some errors after the first installation.

please help with the instructions. would really appreciate them.

To allow us to help you we need a little bit more details on the problems encountered.
What did you tried to do?

Install the compiled version?
Compile the sources?

I think that the Windows Compiles version could run on Win7 X64, in scalar mode, without any problems. For the parallel version, it could exist a problem with MPI

If you wants to compile all the sources, what compiler did you use?

I'm having difficulties as well installing on a Windows7 machine.

when trying to run Telemac, the following message appears:

forrl: severe <29>: file not found, unit 2, file C:\TELEMAC\V6P0\telemac2D\tel2d_v6p)\winT2DDICO

Any thoughts of what is wrong?

reading your post, i think that you're trying to run Telemac by direct clicking on the telemac2d.exe.
Is it right?
If yes, this is not the right method to use Telemac. Telemac is running in a command mode with a steering file
There is an interface to use Telemac modules named FUDAA-PREPRO.
There is a link on the website

Before trying to compile telemac from the sources, if you are a windows user, you could try to use the compile version which is available on the web site.
Later, when you will be a regular user, you will be able to have a look in the fortran file to add you own sources and compile the code

To start in using Telemac, we deliver a lot of test case, with all the requested files to run simulations. Try with those examples

This document is dedicated to the installation of Telemac from the sources files only!
that means you compile all telemac!

In your case, start from the install_telemac_v6p0_win_ifc.exe

You just have to install perl before and run the setup. the installation is automatic

After that, download the interface and the test case and try to use telemac on the different test case (lot of examples)

so im just trying to creat my own project and configurate TELEMAC , so right now I should see the exampless
