When you installed TELEMAC, and before launching the various program, you should execute the program install_systel.bat which is located in the directory install\win
If you want to use Telemac with the command line, you should also update your PATH as indicate at the end of the install_systel execution.
If you use Fudaa-Prepro, you shoud configure the Telemac location in the right screen.

What exactly you need to type in the path?

I used C:\TELEMAC\V5P9\bin\

I got an error then suppose something is missing

Dear Victor
If Telemac is located in C:\TELEMAC\V5P9 (défault location), you should add two fields to your path:
  • C:\TELEMAC\V5P9\bin
    C:\TELEMAC\V5P9\perl\bin

    Hello,

I have some problems to run the Telemac programs.
As you advise I execute install_systel.bat. After that I set the two PATHS in the window “variable d’environnement” in “propriété system”. Telemac is the défault location so I add the values
    C:\TELEMAC\V5P9\bin
    C:\TELEMAC\V5P9\perl\bin
Is it important the name of the variable? I named them PATH1 and PATH2.

Then I try to launch matisse in a command line. I have the following message:

    C:\>matisse
‘matisse’ n’est pas reconnu en tant que commande interne ou externe, un programme executable ou un fichier de comandes.

In Fudaa, I have the same problem. The message is:
« windows ne trouve pas ‘matisse’. Vérifiez que vous avez entré le nom correct, puis réessayer »

in fudaa as well, if I try to run telemac2D, I have the following message:
« ‘perl’ n’est pas reconnu en tant que commande interne ou externe, un programme executable ou un fichier de commandes. »

Do you need more information or you know what’s wrong?

I use intel fortran 11 and Visual studio 2010 in VISTA.

    Thanks

    Regards

    Mikael

    Dear mibie

The name PATH is important. This variable already exists. If you add new variables like PATH1 and PATH2, you don't allow Windows to find the programs.
In Fudaa, you should give the location of the Telemac installation in the Edit/preference/modeling system/Telemac windows

    Hello,

Thanks for your answer. I did what you advised to me, but I have still the same problem, the programs are not found either in fudaa or in a command line. I am wondering something else about that; in the C:\TELEMAC\V5P9\bin directory the only files named matisse, telemac2d etc are ‘.bat’ files and not ‘.exe’. Is it normal?
Moreover I downloaded the installation executable in February and I have tried to download it again for the last few weeks. But it has never been able to complete entirely for this last few weeks. The downloading always stops before the end. Has someone else the same problem?

    Thanks a lot

    Regards

    Hello,

I found something weird in my directory: at the and of the install_systel execution it's said that "la bibliothèque Perl est: C:\TELEMAC\V5P9\perl\win\lib\"
The win directory doesn't exist in my computer.
The lib folder is in directly in the perl directory.
    Could that be the problem?

    Regards
