Hello.

Did anyone manage to compile 64-bit version of TELEMAC under Windows and what are appropriate compiler and linker options?

Thanks.
Budo

Hi budo

We plan to make a 64 bit version under window but it's not done for the moment
As I've seen the compiler options are similar. For the linker options, I suppose only few small changes exists with the external library (metis, mpi, ...).

Good luck if you try

It seems that compilation of sequential and parallel versions of TELEMAC are separated for Linux version but are done in one step for Win + Intel Fortran. This step causes an error when building PARALLEL module. Can I compile sequential version only?

Thanks,
Budo

With a few of my hacks to makefiles, I've managed to compile 64-bit serial version of TELEMAC under Win7. Trouble is that I have a problem of running it. When I execute command "telemac2d -h" output is:

FATAL : Module <tm_info> inaccessible

This is odd because this file exists in my BIN directory and MAKTEL and CFGMAK commands work flawlessly (and all environment variables are set). Also, MAKEALL90 doesn't work but MAKTEL does. What is the source of this and how can I resolve it?

Hello Budo - good work !

To make it work, try adding C:\windows\system32 to your path (eventhough you use 64bit) - verify the directory exist first. I am not sure of the reason but I have seen this to be the solution on Win7 systems.

Please let me know.

Sébastien.

Dear Sebastien,

system32 folder was added to my path variable by default (I double-checked). Is there some other source solution for a similar problem?

Budo
