Hi all,

I have a T3D model with stratification that I used to run on enCORE's HPC using version 7.1.0. As the commercial service ended this spring, I had to find a new HPC to continue running the model with new simulations. However, the new facility preferred to install 7.1.1 since they were not happy with their installation of 7.1.0.

After running a test model on 7.1.1 I can see some differences compared to a similar case ran on 7.1.0. The main difference is that in 7.1.1 I observe less mixing between a high density plume (salinty approx. 4 g/l) and the surrounding water (salinty approx. 1 g/l). In 7.1.0 the mixing led to the plume being stopped at a certain depth once density difference became zero. In 7.1.1 the plume keeps plunging below this depth due to a higher density and less mixing.

I then wonder if some changes on advection/diffusion schemes for tracers have been made between those two versions?

I attach my cas file. Of course all set-up and fortran changes are identical between the two cases, only version differs.
