Hi everybody !

I would like to force tracer values coming from HYCOM at the boundaries of my model.

Velocities and elevation values are forced too and it works fine. However, temperature and salinity values are only read on some nodes of the borders (which are not the same points according the layer).

I tried to impose a fixed value to the boundaries (35 in this example) just to see if the value is read in the subroutine bord3d.f and if I print it ( TABORL%ADR(ITRAC)%P%R(IBORD) ) it does prints 35. So I don’t know why the value “disappear” on the results file… Is it replaced in another subroutine ?
Has anyone already face this problem ? Or can anyone give me an idea of where to look for a correction please ?

I think your case is running well!
Don't forget that tracer values are prescribed when flow is coming inside the domain. The nodes where you're seeing that your prescribed value isn't prescribed match with an outgoing velocity.
I did slight modifications to your case so that you can see that it works.
(0 initial elevation, 0 prescribed elevation and velocities, 35°C prescribed temperature)
