open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi,

When I choose scheme 13 for advection, the simulation stops after few steps without a clear fault reason. I've tried it with scheme 1 and it worked fine.

Is it a software problem or a conflict settings in my CAS file?

The error message states that preconditioning 17 is impossible. Have you tried different preconditioning options? I'd suggest you start there. Perhaps check the examples to see which preconditioning options have been used with scheme 13.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't use preconditioning 17. I understood from other posts in the forum, that "preconditioning 17 is impossible" error message is a generic one, and could be triggered by any error not necessary the preconditioning option only.
