Hi,

I'm trying to use the Spalart-Allmaras turbulence model in T3D V8P0. I'm getting the following messages:

GRACJG (BIEF) : EXCEEDING MAXIMUM ITERATIONS: 1200 RELATIVE PRECISION: NaN
GRACJG (BIEF) : EXCEEDING MAXIMUM ITERATIONS: 1200 RELATIVE PRECISION: NaN
GRACJG (BIEF) : EXCEEDING MAXIMUM ITERATIONS: 1200 RELATIVE PRECISION: NaN
GRACJG (BIEF) : EXCEEDING MAXIMUM ITERATIONS: 1200 RELATIVE PRECISION: NaN
GRACJG (BIEF) : EXCEEDING MAXIMUM ITERATIONS: 1200 RELATIVE PRECISION: NaN
GRACJG (BIEF) : EXCEEDING MAXIMUM ITERATIONS: 1200 RELATIVE PRECISION: NaN

Any idea what could be the problem? normally if the time step is too big or the number of max iterations is too small I will get similar message but with the achieved accuracy. In this case I'm getting NaN instantly, so I'm assuming it's not a time step problem.
I've got the same problem when I try the DES.

When using DES option, which maximum number of iterations I need to activate? is it this one "MAXIMUM NUMBER OF ITERATIONS FOR DIFFUSION OF K-EPSILON"? It is not clear in the manual.

MohdAlaa OFFLINE Senior Boarder Posts: 76 Thank you received: 1	Update: After few trials, I observed that Spalart-Allmaras doesn't work when I chose tidal boundary conditions. Does that mean it is a bug in V8P0 or something else?
