How do I solve the following problem when adding a release source to the tide and tracking the source? That is, after I combined the two sample files in telemac3d. My intention was to release a source at a fixed point under tidal conditions and to track the spread of the source. Sincerely consult!

Also, how do I apply a flow field condition in telemac that varies over time and space?

Hello,

First of all, please use the latest release and not a very old release. It will help. Moreover, there is no assistance for old release. You seem to use a release older than v7p2!

After that, please explain correctly what you want to do, I do not understand. What do you mean by "flow field condition"?
Perhaps reading the TELEMAC-3D user manual can be a solution.

Hope this helps,

Chi-Tuan

1.First of all, thank you for your reply.
2.On the third day after I sent this post, I successfully installed and run v8p4.
3.Sorry I did not explain very clearly, I want to say that the ' flow field condition ' refers to the flow velocity that can be used for calculation at each point in the computational domain, their directions may not be consistent, they will change over time (similar to the attached figure), then how should I apply it to the calculation?
4.Thank you for sending the link, the user manual I have to see, I know the importance of the manual, I will learn more in the future.
Thanks again!
