The date of 1st of January 2010, is not really taken into account in the time series, only the time in seconds from the beginning of the computation is taken. When you do a restart, you start from the last time of the previous computation, so if the time series of the first run are correct, the second run will be correct also (if do not reset the time to zero...). This is to check more carefully with the type of time series you use but typically it is how it works with the LIQUID BOUNDARIES FILE.
