open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Just a short question since I tried to run an old problem of version 6.2 with the new 6.3 version and it does not work.
Right now it seems to me to be a problem (maybe/probably) concerning the consolidation (Gibson Model of Sedi3D) but it could also be my own fortran file (I tried to adjust it to the new version).

Where there any changes in the consolidation area ?
(I assume that is not the case but since I don't get an error message I have a problem to narrow the problem down to a specific area)

P.S. I tried to go without consolidation but then I get unknown consolidation option as an error .
Is there someone who knows how to stop the consolidation model from running?

Dear Csee,
it is planned to re-examine in detail the consolidation models in Sedi-3d. This is one of the activities planned for the next future. As soon as we have some news, we will come to the forum.

Is there any update about the implementation of consolidation in v7p2 or more recently in v8p0 ?

With the introduction of the GAIA module to replace SISPYHE, there have been changes in the bed model, and in consolidation. It is going to be released in the next version (v8p1), expected to be released at the end of the year. If you wish to try it out before the official release, you can try to test it using the trunk version (keeping in mind that it is less stable than the official releases).

Thank you for this answer. Do you know if there have been changes also in the "module" SEDI-3D of TELEMAC 3D (relative to consolidation in particular)? Anyway, I will take a look at the GAIA module when the next version will be released.
