Hi everybody,

I work with telemac3d (v6p3r1).
My input files are in ascii or netcdf format. I try to convert these files in the serafin format but it's a failure.
I saw the matlab tools but there is no script to convert an ascii file to a serafin file. I use the description of the serafin format in the manuel but i don't know to write this script.

Have you got a script to help me? Or an example to make this conversion?

Thanks in advance
Florian

Hi Florian,

What do you mean as 'input files'? Boundary conditions (flow rate, surface elevation etc) or digital elevation model?

As far as I know, for boundary conditions, you need to program the subroutines that read from a user file so as to read the netCDF or any other format.

Also, have a look at this thread which I find is relevant:

Boundary spectra

Hi Costas,

Thanks for your answer.
By input files, i talk about my wind, salinity, temperature files.
They will be used to force my model as initial conditions
