Hello,

I am writing a proposal for simulations to be run in Telemac3D and could use a rough estimate of processing time. What is the actual time taken up for a given simulated time and mesh size, and how long is the initiation period (ie, beginning "throw-away" computations)?

Thanks for your help.

Hi
It's impossible to give an answer to your question!
It's dependent of your problem, of the area covered by your model, on your computer performance and also many other options ...
You could have a look in the test case but it's a test case ...

Regards
Christophe

Hi,

Yes - I am interested in any case (with computing power, mesh size, coarseness, etc. already defined for the problem). From that, I can extrapolate for my own project estimation.

Thanks for your response.

Hello

You can have a look at the benchmark section of the forum for some duration references. But as Christophe said, runtimes can vary for many different factors, so be careful in your extrapolation...
