Hello,

I'm trying to simulate an old case with Telemac-3D v6p3 again but I have serious stability problems (exceeding maximum iterations...) so I have to lower the time step to a very small value and the computation time explodes.
With v6p2 exactly the same case and exactly the same steering file worked very well with much larger time steps.
From the first listing printouts it seems to me that there must be differences in the computation with the k-e model since I use this turbulence model.

Do I miss some updates or modified keywords? Or is the new computation procedure "simply" an improvement over the old versions?

Best regards,
Clemens

Hello,

It seems to be really a problem of the k-e model on tidal flats but in the forum post:
www.opentelemac.org/index.php/kunena/21-...silon?start=10#10455
I found the solution.
The modified subroutine telemac3d.f provided by Jean-Michel Hervouet in this post solves the problem!

Best regards,
Clemens
