Hi,

I have made some runs with telemac3d but I forgot to add the dynamic pressure to the 'VARIABLES FOR 3D GRAPHIC PRINTOUTS'. can anyone tell me how to calculate it from the other variables.

Also how can I add the total pressure to the 'VARIABLES FOR 3D GRAPHIC PRINTOUTS', I did not find a variable to do that.

You cannot a posteriori compute the dynamic pressure, the dynamic pressure gradient corrects an intermediate velocity field to get a final divergence free field (this is Chorin's method), but once it is corrected you cannot find it, since the intermediate field is not in the results.
There is only an output of dynamic and hydrostatic pressure, not the total.

Yes, I checked in the dictionary of Telemac-3D and it is not in the help given, maybe not either in the documentation. You just have to ask for PH in the variables for graphic printouts, it will be in Pascals, but beware, the dynamic pressure given is in fact P*DT/RO, as this is the variable really used and computed in the programme.
