Hi!

According to the documentation of the new oil spill model that was released for version 6.2, it has for now only been implemented for T2D.

I checked the T3D dico file, and I found that two keywords related to oil spill simulations exist:

MIGRHYCAR STEERING FILE

OIL SPILL MODEL

It seems that this model is not yet available - a quick research showed that it should be implemented in oil_pill_3d.f which is empty...

As an alternative to oil spill modelling in 3D, would it be possible to run the 2D oil spill model on a custom "2D result file" containing the velocities at free surface from the 3D result file?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Regards

Hello,

The oilspill model in 3D will be in the next version 7.0 (it will be released at the end of the year).
