Hello,

I got a series of data from a globle tide software, including water elevation and velocities, varing in both space and time. I am going to use these data to drive my model by programming BORD3D. My question is how telemac define the velocity direction on boundary?

In my collected data, +U and +V are towards east and north.

If my boundary is in the east of my domain, do I need to change the sign of U?

Hello,

Positive U velocities are eastward and positive V velocities are northward, so you have the right data and there is nothing to change.

With best regards,
