Hello everyone.

I have a problem, and I would be happy if anyone could help me, or tell me a post with this subject.

I am using Telemac v6p3 parallel, and I am trying to run a 3D-simulation from a 2D-simulation .slf file.
However, this didn't work.

If anyone could help me, I would appreciate.

Thanks everybody!

Hi
Yes but we need to know when this error message appear!
Please copy the listing file before the error message (use the code tag!)

The best solution is to use the keyword DEBUGGER = 1 and then the listing is fully verbose.

Regards
Christophe

HI Jean-Michel Hervouet,

The problem was exactly what you wrote.

The code that I used was:

"2D CONTINUATION = yes
BINARY DATA FILE 1 = ressalto2D_1.slf"

But I changed this for:
"FILE FOR 2D CONTINUATION = ressalto2D_1.slf",
and the code run magnific.

Thank you very much.

Hello,

You can inspire from the test case called canal, which uses this continuation from a 2D file. A possible error is that the file to be used is now called :

FILE FOR 2D CONTINUATION

I think that in previous versions it was BINARY FILE 1 or something like that.

With best regards,

Jean-Michel Hervouet
