Hi

I'm attempting to run a simulation with a liquid boundary file with three open boundaries (two river discharges and a tide). The rivers are gridded along way up into the head waters (positive depths). When I try to initiate the simulation TELEMAC gives the error "PROBLEM ON BOUNDARY NUMBER 1 GIVE A VELOCITY PROFILE IN BOUNDARY CONDITION FILE OR CHECK WATER DEPTHS"

I can work around this by flooding the domain setting unrealistic initial water levels +10 m but this is not ideal. Also when running the river sources inputs aren't being include.

Is there another way around this?

Thanks for your help

Hi,

Please read this section of the user manual.

If you're not satisfied with a constant elevation, try to generate a free surface with FUDAA PREPRO. or a constant elevation only on a limited area of your domain.
