open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello,
In TELEMAC3D v6p3, the following option is available 'NUMBER OF THE INTERMEDIATE REFERENCE LEVEL'.

I would like to know the use of this option, how will it impact the result?

As i found the manual for TELEMAC 3D V6P3 is not available here, i would request you to provide the manual for TELEMAC V6P3 in the repository so that it will be very much useful for all TELEMAC users

HEllo,

This is also a suppressed keyword. Now you can prescribe the elevation of any plane in the mesh. Formerly this could be done with only one plane that was called the intermediate reference level.

1) If i have a mesh of 10 layers, which one is considered as the INTERMEDIATE REFERENCE LEVEL? (Topmost or bottommost or exact-mid)

2) If i use NUMBER OF THE INTERMEDIATE REFERENCE LEVEL = 6, What will be the keyword to prescribe elevation at 4th plane?

Well, I actually tell you in my last post that this keyword is no longer used...

You can look into subroutine condim.f examples that have been put with comments. You can remove the comments to activate them, and change them depending on what you plan to do. You can also look how it is done in the example t3d_cooper, in steering file t3d_cooper-hyd.cas and corresponding Fortran file. If you have fixed planes in condim.f the only extra thing to do is adding :

MESH TRANSFORMATION : 3

in the steering file.
