open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi!
After running my T3D-model correctly I get a "SIGSEGV segmentation fault"-error when the model tries to compile the result file.




My mesh is about 60 000 elements and my result file only consists of a 2D-file with wind vectors (FX, FY). How to solve the problem?

Nothing wrong with your configuration. Can you post the cas file as well? Also try to read/open the partial results files from the temporary directory and see if they are OK. They are have the T3DRES prefix.

I can open the partial results files T3DRES as well as the T3DHYD (for the 2D-results).

Interesting was that I succeded with merging the temporary results files with the command: runcode.py --merge -w C:\SECHBO\Angelholm\20150609\Skald3D_v62_lic.cas_2015-06-24-11h37min29s\ telemac3d t3dcas -c win7gforp

SO why aren't Telemac3d able to merge the files directly?

Puzzling... Does this problem arise with this particular project? Have you tried a test case?

I have only had this problem with this project. It has worked for every other project I have made.

Are you sure FX & FY are the wind vectors? Can you try another computation adding different and possibly more variables?

The wind is X and Y, but it didn't matter for my problem.
