Hello everyone

I've been running my 3D models for a while now and I wonder if there is an option or method to apply the vertical layers only for specific locations/zones/polygons?

this means the vertical layers only exist at the selected region/zones, and the rest will be kind of like depth averaged region (or maybe less # layers than the interested area)

The reason being, I am attempting to use a very small mesh size (~2m) at a specific location on a fairly large domain, so I would like to reduce the computational time if possible
