Hello there,

is it possible to create a wave rose in BK with the data TOMAWAC has calculated?
If yes how to do it.

Hi Clemens,

Yes, you can create wave roses with BK.
First, you have to project the significant wave height and direction as cartesian components: U=Hs*cos(Dir) and V=Hs*sin(Dir). Be careful to the wave direction convention of Tomawac (nautical/cartesian, from/towards, and convert it in radians).
Then you can create a vector field (Tools-->Create Vector Field) from the new U and V variables and display them as wave roses.
