Hi All,
I am aware that in the latest version of telemac there has been an update to the formatting of conlim files. You no longer need to define some boundary properties which were previously defined in the borh subroutine and you can include them in conlim instead. In my case I am interested in defining reflection coefficients (RF).

Is anyone aware of how to define reflection coefficients in Blue Kenue. In the BK manual I can only see information about defining RF using the bohr subroutine. For now I am just copying and editing a preformatted conlim from the "port" example which includes reflection data (see column 7 in attached file for reflection coefficient).

Thanks

Hello,

Please refer to this post (www.opentelemac.org/index.php/kunena/art...91-and-cue-392#28935), for the definition of phase and reflection parameters on the file.

Regarding the reflection coefficient RP you can see that it is the 7th column of the .cli file. You can define the values by modifying the boundary conditions through the Blue Kenue interface, although I think it is easier to assign the values by modifying the .cli file by a text editor, after it is created by Blue Kenue.

Kind regards,
Andreas

Thanks Andreas,

Thanks for pointing me to the article.

I am still confused about how to modify RP within Blue Kenue. I tried doing the following: opening up the conlim table (right click on the table object child of the bc2 mesh and selecting ViewAsTable) in BK - however it still contains the old formatting sytem with things like AUBOR in column 7 rather than RP (see screenshot). I guess the way of defining RP is a little more complex as you indicated.

I am happy to work with text editor to ammend the conlim after Blue Kenue creates it, however if you have some more detailed instructtions about editing RP in BK it would be interesting to know,

Thanks,
Adam

Don't worry about the headers, these are defaulted to the Telemac-2D module.

If you modify the 7th column of the .bc2 file (the AUBOR column) it will be understood by Artemis, as if you modified the Reflection coefficients.

Tl;Dr Don't worry about the headers, if you modify the 7th column it will be read by the Artemis as the RP.

Andreas
