I've installed Wine and wine-stable and wine development in Ubuntu. Using wine to install Blue Kenue, I got the folowing error :
wine: Mauvais format EXE pour \home\mourad\BlueKenue64Installer3.3.4.msi
&
wine-stable: mauvais format EXE pour \home\mourad\BlueKenue64Installer3.3.4.msi
note that 'mauvais format EXE pour' means 'bad exe format for'
Have you any ide how to solve that?

The BK installer does not work with wine.

Alternative way:

On a Windows system, use a program like "Universal Extractor" to extract the contents of the *.msi installer to a folder. Inside that folder you'll find the BK executable, the user manual, and all the files needed to run it.

Copy the extracted folder to your Linux system and run the BK *.exe with wine.

Maybe some libraries (*.dll files) are missing. In that case, you will need to copy them to your "fake windows" folder (its located inside /home/YOUR_USERNAME/.wine).

In the past I have been told that the installer does work with wine.

Perhaps you can share the following so we know a little more precisely what does not work?
- which Blue Kenue version(s) do not install under wine?
- which Ubunutu OS version?
- which kernel version?
- which wine version?

I´ve used BK in Ubuntu 10, 12, 14 with wine, works fine.

You can try installing another windows problem to verify if it runs.
