Hi,
I meet an issue on BlueKenue when I generate a mesh for my projet with several soflines :
strange things happen around some softlines for which the mesh does not rely on it but makes an arc of a circle (see picture)

Do I do something wrong when I generate the mesh ? Should I resample the sofline so that to create the point for the mesh?

Did re-sampling (in order to change point locations slightly) help?

Kindly,
Alan

Hi,

Not sure if related or not, but one remark: if you are using single precision SLF (Selafin) you can try shifting your mesh (both X and Y) just to reduce the value of your coordinates , yours are 265000+, 768000+ which seem a little big; OR try using a newer (alpha or beta) version of BK and move to a double precision file (serafind).

Dont forget to re-shift your mesh/results when reporting the data!

Hi,
thank you for your answer.

At last I created a layer with harpoint on the soflines and I created a polygon for witch I edit a low value used for define a local density and the mesh size is really better.

Concerning the coordinate how does the command shift X/Y works? Should I define a negative value so that to reduce the coordinate ?

Hi,

Glad that you could solve the issue using polygons.

Yes, defining a negative value in both X and Y is the way to go when shifting your mesh.
