TOPIC: Weir separation in mesh through BlueKenue

Weir separation in mesh through BlueKenue 5 years 1 week ago #34920

Hi,

I would like to create a weir in my mesh. I see that it is required to provide boundary points on upstream and downstream of the weir. How to create the separation boundaries in the mesh using Bluekenue (a break in the mesh at the weir as shown in the weir example)? Is it utilizing hardlines option?

Thanks,
Ananth.

Hi
In the example, each part of the mesh had been generated separately and merged in one selafin file.
I think it's not possible to use hardlines to do that, except if you create the full mesh and then delete elements at the location of the weir.
