Hi,

I have a big area and 1m resolution DEM (XYZ file). Thus, I created the mesh from triangulation. I got the error as in the attached image when I tried to run TELEMAC 2D. I hope that someone can help me.

Best regards.
Omar

Hi
This is not the place to post such message as you didn't use Blue Kenue to generate your mesh.
As far as I know, trangulation doesn't provide a mesh in selafin file format. How did you use it as a geometry file?
By the way, you mesh is non conformal so unusable in Telemac (probably an element with a clockwise numbering).

Hi,

Thank you for your response.

I imported the topography as ArcShapefile and created a closed polygon that identifies the area that the mesh cover. Then, I created it in Blue Kenue, from file> New > Triangulation.
After that, I used the resulted mesh as an input to the selafin file.

I tried also to create the mesh from file> new> regular Grid and it is not working.

Best regards.

OK
Sorry about my comment, you're in the right place as you use BK.
Try to find the bad element mentioned in the telemac error message and check if there is a problem on this element...

Which version of Blue Kenue are you using?

New Tringulation ist not right
i think you must do this steps in Blue Kenue:
1.) New t3 Mesh Generator
2.) Outline
3.) Run t3 Mesh
4.) New Interpolation to your xyz
and so on....

if your 1m resulotion xyz file ist to big, you can simplify it with OS MashLab an put the points in the t3 Mesh as Hardpoits.
