I installed the newest version of BlueKenue (v3.12.1-alpha) yesterday.

The Tool>Extract TimeSeries>At Multiple Points does not seem to work anymore?
It throws errors when I want to apply it to the FreeSurface variable in my Selafin results file; and it generates an empty table when I apply it to the Velocity UV variable.
I made sure the files used (slf and point-set), have the same coordinate system...

Can you share a small slf file and point set file with me so I can exactly reproduce what you are trying to do?

Kindly,
Alan

Hello Arvid,

If you only need to extract time series at multiple points, you can use the Python script extract.py (only available from v8p2):
e.g.: extract.py timeseries r2d.slf name_file_extraction.txt -v 'FREE SURFACE' --points x1,y1 x2,y2

Hope this helps,

Chi-Tuan

I did the following:
  1. Created 5 points in a point set
  2. Extracted time series (from a multiframe object)
  3. Got a new table object in the workspace
  4. Extracted all numeric time series from the table object
  5. Dropped all 5 time series into a 1D View

I'm not clear what isn't working...

Kindly,
Alan

Hold on... I just realized that you are talking about a vector (not a scalar). Yes, that does seem to be inoperative at the moment... I will investigate...

Extracting a time series from a scalar mesh and a vector mesh seems to be working again
