TOPIC: Meshing a hole based on an existing mesh (without a bathymety file)

Meshing a hole based on an existing mesh (without a bathymety file) 3 years 6 months ago #38525

Hello,

I am new to BlueKenue. I have an existing mesh with some holes (corresponding to buildings polygons) and I would like to mesh these void polygons. I don't have the bathymety data.. so I think that I can't use the 2Dinterpolator.

I can mesh these holes but I need to assign elevation values (depending on the elevations of the nodes of the polygons)

Could anyone help me please ?

Thanks

I found a solution for my question. I had to export bathymetry data from the existing mesh as an XYZ file. Then, put these data in a interpolator2D and map the hole to them. Hope this helps any future lecturer.
