BK 3.13.4-alpha is available; please let me know if doesn't work for you.

Kindly,
Alan

I'll be making a new Blue Kenue version after lunch today; in about 1-2 hours.

So, if you have any comments that might cause me to delay the new alpha version please speak up :)

Kindly,
Alan

So.

I'm not able to display the generated mesh (and it seems bugged in some ways as it breaks other things)
See Downloads.zip for left and right bank and outline.

Channel mesher

Add generated mesh in view

See nothing

Create a mesh generator, add "fixSavere" as outline, generate -> OK

Add generated channel mesh as submesh ->

Error

Try to delete submesh

On my development alpha it works.

Likely I fixed the same issue you're raising over here: #40799

I'm going to go ahead with creating the new BK 3.12.5-alpha and you can try that one; as we are chasing our tail a bit at the moment.

Kindly,
Alan

The mesh created by the Channel Mesher is not removable. Therefore, when you drag and drop it as a sub-mesh of the Mesh Generator an exact copy of the channel mesh is created and then it is added. And hence the submesh is not removeable. I've changed this behaviour so that the copy will be removeable.

Also, a likely workaround in BK 3.12.4-alpha and earlier, would be to save the channel mesh to a file and then load it again from that file. Then, that newly loaded mesh should be removeable when dragged to the submesh of the mesh generator.

In any case, for BK 3.12.5-alpha dragging a channel mesh to a submesh of the mesh generator will no longer have this issue and you should no longer need to save the channel mesh to a file and then reload it.

I'm going to now try generating the mesh using your outline and your submesh to see if I get the same error message as you did.

Kindly,
Alan

As a side question...

You loaded the shape file with the left and right banks and then did you drag the lineset onto the LeftBank and then drag the same thing again onto the RightBank?

I extracted out the left bank and right bank separately after loading the shape file and then put them in their own files. Then I loaded them separately and dragged them separately to the LeftBank and the RightBank.

At this time, I'm unclear if your approach also works. It would be more direct than mine, that's for sure :)

Kindly,
Alan
