TOPIC: Extract subset and build a child hydrodynamical file

Extract subset and build a child hydrodynamical file 12 years 4 months ago #4999

Hello,

I have built a "large" hydrodynamic model with T2D around my region of interest. I would like to use only a subset to force SISYPHE.

In Bluekenue I can easily extract a subset, creating a .t3v file. Nevertheless this child file can not be input into a new selafin file.

I would appreciate if anyone had a trick to do this.

With best regards.

Alexis

Hi
I know it's easy to do in fudaa-prepro with the export capabilities.
I suppose it's similar in Blue Kenue if you create a new selafin object and drag and drop your variables is it.

Hope this helps

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. It does not work in Bluekenue (at least for me). The extracted vector field becomes a single frame and scalar variable in the new selafin object. I will have a look at fudaa.

Cheers.

Well, it's supposed to work as described by Christophe, unfortunately there's a bug in Blue Kenue.

Sorry about that folks... I'll put this on my TODO list.

Cheers... Martin
