open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi everybody

I'm a new user for TELEMAC system.

I meet some difficulties for handling the software.


I downloaded a compiled version of system Telemac V6 from "Setup_TELEMAC_V6p1_windows_intel" on Downloades ==> compiled codes.

My first question is : it's sufficient?? or i had to download some other files in Downloads==>compiled codes??

For choosen the pre/post processor, what is the difference between Fudaa and Blue Kenue??

About Fudaa, I am looking for detailed tutorials to handling the software but there is no tutorial in the web site of Fudaa.

Any help id deeply appreciated.

As indicated in the download area, the auto installer for v6p1 requires PERL to be installed.

You will also need to download and configure the systel.ini file (please refer to the installation guide on this site).

If you don't need to make any change to the code, and don't require parallel processing this is it for the model itself. We advise you to run some of the test cases supplied in the download area to get acquainted with the model.

NOTE: after the release of v6p2 we hope to be able to supply an installer that also includes all the supporting tools: python, svn, etc. So it will make the installation and update simpler.

Regarding Fuda, the link on this site will bring you to a page containing documentation and examples (there is also another link for further material in french). If you think important information is missing, please let us know in more detail what you would have liked to see, and we will pass the request to the Fuda team.

About systel.ini file, I downloaded it, but as the installation guide is all in english, I don't understand precisely what I have to do.

There is no installation guide in french??

About Fudaa, I already seen all of documents and videos on the web site.
I am looking for tutorials with detailed steps.
There is a good videos to explain some applications of Fudaa, but there is no one test case described on .pdf file and with detailed steps.

But i do not find this project.

When I run a calculation on Fudaa with Telemac 2D, the terminal window is displayed, but there is no calculation, you think it's a Telemac problem or Fudaa problem??

I am sorry to ask as many questions is that I really need to learn Telemac system.
