Hi,

I was working with the packet of sediments PSDERun, but i have got one question about it. I have done the bathymetry, but I don't know how I have to do the file DEPTH, because I have seen in your examples that it's written in machine language.
Help me please.

Thank you

Hi,

PSed requires temporally varying Depth and Currents in separate BINARY files.
These can be created by loading a Telemac result file and using
"File->Save Copy As" save the VELOCITY UV and DEPTH variables.
Make sure you select "2D T3 Vector Mesh (BINARY MultiFrame) (*.t3v)"
and "2D T3 Scalar Mesh (BINARY MultiFrame) (*.t3s)" as the
"Save as type:"

If you don't have the DEPTH variable available in the selafin file, use the calculator to compute it from SURFACE ELEVATION - BOTTOM.

If your hydrodynamics is from another model you may have to generate the files yourself. The t3s/t3v file formats are described in the Appendix A of the reference manual.

Hope this helps... Martin

NOTE: Blue Kenue can import hydrodynamic results from ADCIRC as well so the same process applies.

Hi

I am working with the PSEDRun. How can I get the current and the depth files?? Because I have run the model with Telemac. I have obtained the results in the res.slf file. If I open with Blue kenue and I save it, it says that It can't read them. So, I have opened them and I have checked that you have done with the :Application EnSimApp1

Hi BPA,

Please read my previous post again.
particularly where I say:

Make sure you select "2D T3 Vector Mesh (BINARY MultiFrame) (*.t3v)"
and "2D T3 Scalar Mesh (BINARY MultiFrame) (*.t3s)" as the
"Save as type:"

Cheers... Martin
