open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi,
I use BK to produce mesh file. In the outline file, there are 4 corners with right angle. After the mesh file is produced, the right angles in the 4 corners have some change. Why this happen and how to eliminate this? In the attachment are the files including the outline file, two mesh files. I sign the corners with circles.

This is an effect of the outline resampling.
You could add hard points on the corner or manually resample the outline and uncheck this option for the mesh computation.

However, I am not very clear what you say. If I uncheck the option of "resample outline" in T3 mesh generator, the mesh is just produced by the points on the outline, without any interpolation.

I make new pointset with the points in all the corner. And, I drag the pointset into the hardpoint of T3 mesh generator. However, the mesh produced still exist the same problem.

Hello,

my solution is to relocate manually these nodes. It takes some minutes.

And if you have a large computational domain the non exact position of some boundary nodes should not have any significant influence on the solution in your zone of interest.
