I currently have very good meshing along all my subject area, except for along a single boundary edge. This localised area where there is very poor meshing.
The boundary edge has a set number of points which are included in the form of a hardline.
Anyone have suggestions?

Hi,

There is also a very good tutorial on mesh constructing and running a simulation with Telemac2d. You can download it here.

It is difficult to assist you without seeing your geometry file
can you forward it

I would generally use Blue Kenue which is available for download free and within that there is generate mesh option which allows you to define a boundary the default mesh size and required mesh density areas for coarse and refined mesh resolution.

A training manual for this has been produced search for Blue Kenue tutorial on this site.

Hi,

your problem on your boundary seems to be a matter of resampling the boundary line.
You can find more information of solving this type of problem in a post/question that I posed before:
www.opentelemac.org/index.php/kunena/blu...ied-on-outline#12822

you could create a larger mesh than you have now of the same area (so that you don't stop at this boundary). Don't use the hard line; then resample the hard line only based on the mesh density of the larger mesh and use the resampled hard line again in your mesh you had before.
