Hi,

Is it possible to put the velocity vectors at the level of the free surface in a 3D view of Bluekenue?

Best regards.

Jules

Hi Jules,

You can shift the whole object up and down by changing the "Shift" field on the Display tab of the Properties Page but the object is flat.

Hope this helps

Hi Martin,

Thanks for your help.

So it's not possible to get the velocity at the free surface level. I'm looking flows during submersion of a dike and I would like to observed velocity vectors at th same level than the free surface when the dike is submerged.

Regards.

Jules

Hi Jules,

For a 2D result this is not possible.

On the other hand Telemac3D velocity vectors are drawn with the Z value of their origin coming from the layers "COTE Z" variable.

If you can write your results into a Telemac 3D result file you'll get what you want. (see attached)

Cheers... Martin
