Hello everyone!
I'm a graduate student and I'm not just new to TELEMAC/BlueKenue but I'm new to modeling! I'm attempting create a mesh with Blue Kenue for TELEMAC 2D, and I've been following the tutorial without a problem. However a meander cutoff is giving me trouble.

The T3ChannelMesh tool requires a left bank and a right bank, however a cutoff with an active meander's geometry doesn't fit very nicely into these restrictions. I have imported the bathymetry of the meander with no problems, and I've attempted to make several meshes. Though they have not come out too well.

I've tried to create an open line around the whole meander outer bank for the left bank, and an open line for the inner bank corner created by the cutoff. I've also tried to make a mesh for the full meander, and one for the cut off and merge them. But no luck in either case.
Can yall give me some tips or guidance?

~Thanks so much!

Here's some pictures of the bathymetry data if it will help

Hi

Before looking precisely to this problem, you should answer to the question of what your want to focus on?
Maybe it's not necessary to use the channel mesher to create your mesh. You could just use the mesh generator...

Hope this helps

Yes! This helps so much. I know it was a very simple question, I just needed a finger to point me in the right direction.
Thank you so much~

Once you have bathymetry, you have to create a mesh. To make sure your bathymetry matches with your mesh, you have to interpolate. I guess "meshing cut-off" means boundary conditions. Therefore, you have to specify them.

Hope this help
