Hi everyone,

I tend to create a mesh with different resolutions (finer in the area of interest, and coarser in other areas).

Could anyone know what is the best way to do it?

Thank you so much in advance!

Best Regards

Hi

Different possibilities exists.
The simple one is to specify the density with polygons in Blue Kenue and adjust the edge growth ratio

Hope this helps

Hi Christophe,

I just want to come back this topic by asking how to create mesh with descending resolutions (downward/backward direction) - here is an example that I capture from TELEMAC directory.

Could you please give me some tips?

Best Regards

Huy

Hello Huy,

Have a look at this thread. There you can find how to make element size depending on the depth.
