Thanks Tony & Chirstophe for your reply.

Actually, I have spent a lot of time to read the use and reference manual, but I think your answers also help me a lot. Telemac is new to me. My purpose of using Telemac is to compare the results I have done with DELFT3D. Also, I have a quite lot of field data, so the first step I want to calibrate and validate a TELEMAC model.

After running the model several times, now I clearly understand "RESULT FILE", but I haven't yet understood how to create "REFERENCE FILE" -*.slf file for the whole mesh. I would be great if you can give me some hints!

Best Regards

Huy

Hi

Please don't be narrow-minded!
REFERENCE FILE is only use for non-regression tests in the validation procedure of TELEMAC!
It contains the result of a previous telemac computation (with a previous version).
At the end of a new run (with the new version), when the keyword VALIDATION is set to YES, there is an automatic comparison of the new result file with the reference file and an automatic writing of the maximum difference for each variable in the listing.
There is no other use of this file so FORGOT IT!

Regards
Christophe
