I am studying harbour agitation with ARTEMIS and I am wondering whether it is possible to create a circular offshore boundary or not. This offshore boundary will adopt a condition of incident wave.
I have 2 questions:
1) Would you suggest a circular or a straight offshore boundary?
2) How can I create in Blue Kenue a mesh with a circular offshore boundary?

Thank you very much for any help.
Francesco

Hi

I'm not an artemis expert but for the question 1 I would say it's mainly depends on the incident wave.
In the example, there is more straight offshore boundary...

In BK, to create a circular boundary, you should import date from another tool as there is no automatic generation of geometric form.
You could easily program in Excel the nodes of a circle with the adequate size and the create an I2S file

Hope this helps

It's a text file and you have the full description of this file in the Blue Kenue Manual
