open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Dear Telemac/Bluekenue Users,

I have a result file from Telemac of a concentration for each node at each time step. I want to extract a time series for each node at the same time (I have 1592 nodes and I don't see myself doing it for each node).

Is it possible to do something like that on Bluekenue? If not, what is the best way to do it?

Hello,

I don't know if it possible in BlueKenue but you can use the Python Selafin parser. Based on this you have then a lot of possibilities. E.g. have a look into this forum post:

Hi Dadou,

You can extract multiple timeseries using the menu item
"Tools->Extract TimeSeries->At Multiple Points"
This will generate a "Table Object" that can be saved to a tb0
or csv file.
Use "<right-click>View As Table" to see the data in Blue Kenue.

To create the pointSet from the grid nodes.
Create a Closed Line covering the area of interest and use
"Tools->Extract Points".
